Polocrosse returns to the Show

3/10/2008 12:19:00 PM
After several years absence, Polocrosse had a triumphant return to the Young Show on Tuesday with two exciting exhibition matchers played against the Jugiong Polocrosse Club.

The off-season fixtures were an interesting affair, with Young taking the opportunity in the first match of four six minute chuckers to try out some new horses, allowing Jugiong to get on the front hoof and control the game.

Young’s Kieran Davidson changed horses mid-way through the match after a slight injury which began Young’s turn-around.

The second match saw Young take to the field with their best horses strengthening their attack significantly.

Michael Clark and Kieran Davidson teamed up well to run out convincing victors.

It was a fantastic two games, displaying great sportsmanship and a welcome return to the Show.
