Over 50 local farmers, truck drivers and members of the NSW Farmers Association gathered at the restaurant to hear from local experts in the tyre industry, including guest speaker John Bowe.

Manager of Young Beaurepaires Jason Hall said he was pleased with the number of people who attended and was glad to be able to thank those who have supported Beaurepaires.

“It’s our way of giving back to local farmers and truck drivers who have supported us and utilised our products over the years,” he said.

“It was a great opportunity for everyone to get together in a social setting and enjoy each other’s company, while learning more about our new products and hearing from a driving champion, who has so much knowledge and experience to offer.”

John Bowe has been an ambassador for Dunlop and Beaurepaires for 12 years, with Dunlop the control tyre for V8 Supercars.

“I am involved in product development for passenger tyres and for many years have been proud to represent a brand I believe in,” John said.

“It’s an interesting industry and people just don’t realise how far tyres have come. From black round things to serious pieces of engineering.

“Tyres are the last thing people think about but they are seriously underestimated. The type of tyre used can be the difference between a safe ride and a disaster.”
