SHEARER Luke Dickens has wowed the local pub scene with his vocal talents, but now he is off to show the country his flair with the microphone.
Luke has made it to the top 100 in the new series of Channel 10’s Australian Idol.
The 26-year-old has lived in Young for the last 15 years, and has enjoyed the whirlwind trip from auditioning in Albury and spending time in Sydney with the top 100 singers in Australia.
Luke’s first audition in Albury will air on Channel 10 next week.
