Young is getting excited about frocking up for the prestigious Fashions on the Field tomorrow at the Young Picnics as both beaus and belles battle to be the most fabulous.
The lovely ladies from le chic hair and beauty are sponsoring the event, divided up into four categories including Most Elegant Female, Most Fashionable Male, Best Dressed Couple and of course, a really fun one, Best Hat.
Melissa McColl, Adele Nuthall and Lucy Snodgrass will be wandering the crowd throughout the day, hand picking the twenty most tastefully stylish ensembles as finalists in each category, so put your best stilettos forward ladies and stay smart gentlemen.
The parade of finalists will take place between races three and four on the card, at around 3pm, where final judging will be completed.
Once the crowd has had a good gawk and the judges points are in, the winners will be announced at 3.30pm.
And here are some tips for what the judges are looking for.
For the ladies this year, it is all about elegance with a very liberal splash of fun.
Silks, ruffles and the maxi dress are just a few of the styles you will be seeing this Spring racing season.
The big thing is colour and lots of it, with floral prints trailing closely behind.
And with all those hats and fascinators, go absolutely crazy!
For the gentlemen, do not be afraid to wear bold prints and colour.
Keep the suits simple with maybe a pin stripe or just plain navy.
Being a country race meeting, a pair of plain coloured slacks set off with a great coloured shirt and a sports coat is always a winner in more ways than one.
Competition is always fierce as Young residents and visitors turn out in their best for the great day of races, sun and socialising.
And there is a huge list of prizes for the winners, donated by many Young business houses.
For starters, le chic hair and beauty are giving 10 percent off vouchers to all 80 finalists.
The winner of Most Elegant Female will receive gift vouchers from Silks Boutique and Simply Shoes as well as a special prize from Annie B’s Full House.
The Most Fashionable Male will take home a pair of sunglasses courtesy of Young Eyes and a luxurious pure merino wool jumper from the Wool Room.
The wearer of the Best Hat will be treated to beauty products by Nouvelle Beauty Therapy, hair products from Sharons Hairline and a gift voucher for Cint of Young.
And the Best Dressed Couple can share a romantic dinner for two at Doves Restaurant in Young Services Club and accommodation and breakfast from the Federation Motor Inn.
